“Waterscape #2” scooped the top prize for Peter Solness

For the second time, renowned Australian photographer Peter Solness has been awarded the Parliament of NSW Landscape Photography Prize, this time with this epic photo from Centennial Park. Peter used his painting with light technique to create a masterful image of water escaping from Centennial Park Reservoir #1. And the best thing about this? You can learn from Peter at this upcoming workshop!

Peter has been running night photography workshops in Centennial Parklands for a few years now, and we’re thrilled that his work has again been recognised for its imagination and creativity. But what if we told you that you could not only meet and learn from Peter, but come away with the skills to be able to ‘paint with light’ after just one evening?

The next “Painting with Light” workshop is as follows:

  • Date: Friday 30 May 2014
  • Times: 7pm to 10.30pm
  • Location: Education Precinct, off Dickens Drive, Centennial Park
  • Price: $135 per person (a 20% discount applies for 2 or more persons on the same booking)
  • Booking: Contact Peter Solness on email: peter@solness.com.au or phone 0413 304 889
