The Photos of the Week this time around are even more stunning as they are taken by a self-confessed “very much an amateur”. After seeing these photos, we are dubious of that amateur claim, Phil!

Firstly, we asked Phil for a little about himself:

I’m a local Clovelly resident – very much an amateur photographer, but always looking to improve. Despite these photos, funnily enough I have never really been interested in birds, but they’ve proven to be a great subject with which I can develop my photo skills. - Phil Leamon.

Phil also believes it’s the many different aspects on offer in Centennial Park that help to push his photography forward.

Now, let’s check out Phil’s photos…

Love your birds, Phil. If this is you as an amateur, keep snapping away!
