The Kurrajong Kitchen Cheese Lovers Festival is coming to Centennial Park

Attention cheese lovers, if you’re after a gouda time this winter we have gouda news for you. The Kurrajong Kitchen Cheese Lovers Festival is moving to Centennial Park for 2018 with the dog-friendly annual celebration of all things cheese set to take place on the 16 June. There’ll be cheese platters aplenty along with wine, beer, live music and workshops where you can learn everything there is to know about (what else?!) cheese. Praise Cheesus!

Cheese, cheese and more cheese

Over 50 stalls showcasing cheese and friends of cheese such as beer and wine will be set up for you to taste, learn and appreciate. This year the festival welcomes the Global Cheese District, where you can taste cheeses from France, Italy and Spain to name a few, vegan cheese-lovers will be catered to at the festival’s first ever vegan cheese stall, Sprout & Kernel, and cheese innovators such as Stix, creators of the frozen cheesecake on a stick, will be celebrated.

Very Important People  Cheese

The exclusive VIPicnic Tent is the place to be if you like the finer things in life. Tickets for this luxury area are 18+ so you can sit back and relax, have a massage, and of course eat cheese.

The Cheese Menu

Cheese connoisseurs can enjoy a delicious three course cheese-infused and French-inspired lunch designed by celebrity cook and Cheese Lover Festival ambassador Justine Schofield. Each delicious cheesy dish will be matched with wine and enjoyed to the tunes of a jazz duo. This exquisite dining experience has been sold out the past two years so book your ticket now.

Cheese + wine = the perfect match

Ben Hughes, Head of Liquids and Founder of the Australian Wine and Beer School has nearly twenty-five years of Australian wine industry experience, well over thirty years drinking experience and well over forty years entertaining experience, so who better to educate you on the best wine and cheese pairings? There will be four sessions of these intimate and relaxed workshops but there are limited tickets available for each, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Workshops
